Mend Nissan Micra 1.1l Overheating Radiator Coolant

what could cause a nissan micra 1.1l to overheat -?

After a relaytively short journey there was steam coming out of the radiator overflow pipe and engine temp guage was high.

I changed the thermostat, but after a few days, same thing happened.

Someone told me to change the water pump, but i'm not sure how to do this.

Can someone help me PLEASE?

Nissan Nissan Micra 1.1l Vehicles, Cars Overheating Radiator Coolant

Sometimes its just the thermostatic valve that jams, remove it see how it runs then replace it if you want to, the car will happily run witout it, worst case it the pump.
