ERROR message on a Walkman MZ-NE410?

Well about a week ago, I dropped my player, then two days ago, i sat on it, and today I opened it in the rain to change disks. It played fine before the rain so how would I be able to fix it? Dry it out? Open wipe dry? PLEASE HELP!

Water and any electronics are a very bad combination. Of course dropping and sitting on them aren't good either. Use a jeweler's screwdriver ( should be available at RadioShack). Remove 4 screws on 4 corners of bottom of unit. Carefully remove bottom of unit, make sure battery is out. Look at board for corrosion, if there is - buy a new one.
