Mend Renault Espace MKIII Door

Renault espace MK111?

Drivers door and petrol flap central locking does not work. I have taken the door panel off and applied current to the central lock which appears to work. I think therefore think that current is not getting through.

Any advice?

peel back the rubber sleeve for the wiring between door and pillar -look for broken wires

check the multi block wiring where it enters the door, it should seperate fairly easily, sometimes the pins get corroded or pushed too far into the plastic collar. Check the pins with a circuit tester, the current to the central locking motor should only flow when you press the 'plip' to un/lock the car.
