Your advice of tilting machine 45° made mine work again too!
I had flooded it by adding water to the drawer for an extra large and fluffy, teddy duvet cover to wash well, triggering the 'water protection system' to react - stopping the cycle, preventing operation while displaying check inlet and drain, which when checked were clean although a little water drained out, yet this did not make the machine work.
The manual says 'ring service dept'.
So I am very relieved and glad for your advice.
