Engine cuts out on my vaxhall corsa 1.2 "r-reg"?

I start the engine, runs ok, i`m driving say 10mph - 300 yards later engine cuts out.I turn key to turn off position (no light on dash) then turn keys to start engine completely dead engine.........turn keys to the off position again, remove keys,wait 10-30 second car starts and runs so my yards then engine cut out again.
