How can I use my Aiwa, model np. HV-GX900K with no pin?

I have a Aiwa video cassette recorder, model no. HV-GX900K, linked to an independent screen. It is a long time since I have used the video cassette recorder and I have forgotten the pin no.
I have sound, but on the screen it is asking for the pin no.
What can I do to bring up the picture on the screen. Can I bypass the pin no,?
The only thing that seems to work on the recorder is the stop and eject buttons.
