Vax ultra rapide carpet cleaner?

My brush roller motor is not working the belt is fine it is the small motor that is not working where can I get a new motor from or can I get it fixed anywhere, the machine is 18 months old only used half a dozen times, Vax will not cover it we did however forget to send in the guarantee.
