Mend Koler 14hp Lawn Mower Ignition Engine

need fire to my 14hp Koler engine?

I need to get fire to a Koler 14hp engine that I traded for,its getting gas no fire what do I look for ? I am not familier with a koler engine I did put a new spark plug in , The engine is about a 95 model

Ignition module,is that the little box on the side of the housing th has a black plug into it it also has 2 screws holding it on?

First look for the kill wire. It will be a thin black wire coming from the ignition module. If it's grounding out anywhere you won't get spark.
