Standby sensor?

My Bush flats screen tv is stuck on stand by how can I get the stand by off

There is some kind of fault but, since you decided we didn't need to know the make and model, that's all we can say.

If you post again, with the make and model listed, someone (even YOU) could do a simple Gooogle search for - say - "make model stuck in standby" and see what comes up.
