Daihatsu Sirion ?

'Er indoors' Daihatsu 'milk float' oops!!! Sirion boot light only goes off when the car is locked. If the car is not locked the battery drains because this light stays on.
Can't see any reference to a separate switch in user book to turn it off permanent until required, only how to take the bulb out but that's hard as the holder wont turn so can't get bulb out. Can't understand why Daihatsu did not fit a boot door pressure switch save me trouble of removing the bulb and charging the battery when she forgets to lock the car at home (secure area).
