Sebo handle issue?

Dear Handy person
I have just removed the handle of our Sebo X4 to check the wiring. The retaining screw which you remove on the underside of the handle just goes round and round now on replacement. There is something inside the metal part of the handle rattling around now which probably means there was a nut retaining the screw which has come off. You can't get at this as both ends of the metal handle only come out so far, like it's a sealed unit. This question has been asked before by someone else in the past, but the question was not given a satisfactory answer as the replier misunderstood the question. Solutions appreciated! Thanks.
