How can i clear the panel after changing the battery?

I have a scantronic9800+. I changed the battery , input personal code but panel show flashing AL and 7. How can I get the system back to normal operation.
I have just input the reset code ,this has changed the display flashing between 7 and nu.
Any help would be very much appreciated
