How much is a circuit board for a Valliant combi heater?
Hi there!
I have a Valliant combi heater VCW 20/1 T3 WH
Unfortunately it has recently broken down. The main fuse had gone so I replaced it and it worked fine for 24 hours! The next morning the same thing happened, no central heating/hot water, however the fuse was fine! I noticed the pressure level was right down so I brought it back up to just under 1bar. However this did not help.
Next I called out an engineer, who has looked at it and suspects the circuit board to be blown. He said I would be best to get a "Valliant Engineer" round to look at it as they would know exactly what was wrong with it and also they would be able to get hold of the parts needed easily.
Can you guys please help out at all, or give me some suggestions?!

The new circuit board arrived at Heating Centre today, and i fitted it myself, and we now have heating/hot water! cheers for your help!
However one thing... what should the boiler pressure be at when cold and when hot????

by the sounds of it he didn't even get his tools out. try these people for price on pcb, i buy most bits from there and they are helpful and stock most items on self. 01702 711431 d.i.y heating centre, 894 london road, l-o-s.

Thanks but I can only repeat the above and what the engineer said i.e. he recommended I contact a Valliant agent. I am finding it difficult to get one in the Southend on Sea/Essex area!
Can anyone help please?!
Also does anyone know the price of the circuit board for my Valliant combi heater VCW 20/1 T3 WH?!

any descent engineer should be able to find the fault. i come from essex area and valliant parts are not a problem to get
