How to fix my Baumatic BDI 631 dishwasher?

I have a Baumatic BDI 631.

The heating element needed replacing but in doing so, I didn't tighten up the pump correctly which subsequently caused a leak.

The dishwasher stopped working shortly after the heating element had been replaced due to a leak. I then emptied the collection tray under the dishwasher and correctly fitted the pump.

When I switched the dishwasher back on, no lights appeared on the programme selection options.

I reset the dishwasher by holding down the programme selection button while switching on the dishwasher. It seemed to go through a check sequence for a few minutes before stopping. There was a light on the intense wash setting which wasn't the programme used before the flood had occurred.

As the dishwasher didn't do anything else, I turned it back off, checked again for any further leaks but there were none. After switching on, I was unable to select a programme setting so reset the dishwasher again.

This time all the programme lights flashed but no test sequence commenced.

I turned off once more but after switching back on, I was unable to select a programme setting.

Any idea what might be the fault?
