Because only some of them wont work it leads me to think it may be something to do with the copyright protection on the songs. If you use windows media to put them on your mp3 player follow: tools>options>copy music>copy protect music.
however it could also be the format of the songs you put on .mp3 .wav .wma .ogg etc
obviously it will play mp3's but maybe not the other ones
