How do I dismantle Kenwood FP310 blender?

Inadvertently left Kenwood FP320 on live electric cooker element and burnt bottom panel. Now have replacement bottom panel, and have partly dismantled but cannot figure out how to remove drive shaft to complete disassembly, and expose the chassis. Is it a push or screw fit can I prise it from the bottom?
