bowl doesnt spin?

hi i have just replaced a broken clutch pawl, the agitator works ok now but when the machine needs to spin, the agitator spins but not the bowl. with the machine stopped i can turn the agitator in both directions but not the bowl. have i done something or not done something when i replaced the pawl?

I see from your other posts it is an Eziset (Simpson) You would of received help quicker if you had put make & model details in the first time & stuck to one posting instead of 3. Anyway, it sounds like the brake arm that the pawl is attached to is not pulling out and releasing the brake. Suggest you check if the bawden cable from the brake release motor is still attached to the brake arm.
