Pulled out the door release cord completely out - how do u reconnect it?

From where the blazes do you get "aristotle" ? As far as I can see the machine is an Ariston Aqualtis AQ9F 29 U.

I am also mystified by "Door Release Cord" - As far as I can see the door release is a handle.

Do you mean the cord that holds the rubber seal in place around the opening into the drum?

Is it like one of these?

I normally use a small pair of pliers to stretch the spring, whilst holding the other in place. Its a complete faff. Do a bit of searching and you may find a YouTube video that's helpful
