How can i fix dishwasher?

dishwasher ignis adl347 starts, seems to go through cycle no water splashing when i open door half way through though.Have removed bottom arm to cle though i m having difficulty removing the bottom arm. is it supposed to come off? i dont want to force it in case i break it. Have now poured boiling water into the bottom to see if that solves problem of not draining.
