my fridgefreezer temperature light keeps beeping. How can I stop it?

Phoned an electrician. When he came out, he asked me to turn it off for 24hours, as ice had built up over and around the fan. Autodefrost fridgefreezer aswell! Tried it but still not worked. Called them back out and new fan fitted as had burnt out. Fridgefreezer now okay!!
