Mend Cannon Chichester Cooker Repair Ignition

Main oven on cannon gas cooker not working?

Electric part of cooker (ignition/clock/timer) gone. Can light the hob and grill with match but unable to light main oven as no gas going through. Is this a normal thing and how would it get fixed please. I think it is a Chichester model.
