If your motor has a dpf filter and is blocked then it will need to be regenerated, sometimes just getting out for a run in a lower gear and high revs will start a regeneration and the warning light might go out by itself. If the filter is very blocked then a suitable computer would tell you how badly and may need a forced regeneration to clear it using the computer. Have had this also fail if it is completely blocked and the dpf filter may need to be removed to get a can of dpf cleaner injected into it to help clear the filter and then do a forced regeneration. If you are saying your Aeolys tank was empty too then again a computer is the only way forward in resetting your system in telling it precisely how much was put into the reservoir.
