Mend Toyota 901 Knitting Machine

toyota 901 knitting machine?

I have just brought out my Toyota 901 knitting machine, stripped and cleaned it, set everything correctly but it will not cast on, misses a lot of the needles either on main bed and/or ribber, it's not consistent either, misses different needles each time, any ideas?
