The programe on my washing will not work when I press the start buton?

I have a Bosch Logixx 8 washing machine, which came up with an Error 61 code, which has something to do with the door lock, I managed to release the door by using the red pull cord at the front panel, but now when you select a program the start button does not light up, and when pressed it just beeps, any ideas ??
