Mend Citroen c3 Picasso Power C3

Power steering fault Citroen c3 Picasso 2010?

Started my car and power steering fault came up. Had to drive to garage 20 mins away. They done diagnostic and trying to reset but they said it did not work and may need new rack!!! Pulled out of garage and it started working ? Bit worried it is going to happen again. Garage said unusual for car that age. I believe this is happening to a lot of people. Must be a manufacturing fault. Citroen should recall them and sort! Anyone experiencing the same?

Citroen Citroen c3 Picasso Vehicles, Cars Power Citroen C3

I get the occasional warning of power steering fault, but have not noticed a fault, just driven 200 miles, all is ok, until warning came on again 3 times today in 1 minute, drove another 30 miles, steering still ok and no more warning, very intermittent
