HIQU shower control panel?

The push button on my 6 year old HIQU digital concealed shower valve with remote control, started to play up. I brought a new control panel from aqualisa, took the old one off, unplugged the lead & put it into the new one. I turned the power back on to the processor unit, which made a noise as if booting up, then made the noise again 5 secs later, but neither the remote or the push button will start the shower........any ideas please??
