Fix a Blapluant tv?

Everything works but screen is black is this fault with led backlights and can they be fixed

Blupunt Video, Televisions Works Fault Led

Have a close look at the screen. Can you see a faint image? If so, the screen is producing an image but the backlight has failed. There are a lot of Blaupunkt TVs and you couldn't be bothered to tell us which one you have so do a Google search for your particular model and the word backlight, for starters.
