OM 99732?

I have the same problem as others. In Auto it will not run. Works fine in reverse. I see where someone jumped pins 1&4 on circuit board connector from paper photo cells and another just switched polarity on motor. Question is to switch polarity on motor is it just reversing the power wires to motor?
