My Indesit IDS105 slim,one dishwasher won't drain away?

I have just replaced the heating element on my dishwasher as it was broken for months. Now I've found that it completes the wash cycle but won't go onto the dry cycle as it has water in the bottom. As it cannot drain it fuses the plug and totally shuts off. This is very frustrating as I know the Indesit team do not have the best reputation, and I do not want to pay there call out fees.
