I have Renault Megan 2005 1.5 auto ?

I got a modus Renaults are full of sensors and auto systems you have to either read the book to see what it is or you can download a list of symbols from the net as I have done it is easier than trying to decode the book ,your light is either triggered by a sensor or you have turned on some automated system and its telling you that ,but either way you have to know what is being flagged up !

If you have a warning light on the dash no amount of playing about with the controls will put it out ,first you need to know what the light is or means check your hand book if you don't have a book look at the light and then tell the people on here what the symbol is ,do you have any idea just how many lights there are on a Renault dashboard ?

The Megan as with all new Renaults, have a way of switching off warning lights from inside the car,no tools no fancy machines to plug it into.
Most sales members can turn the warning light off for you very simply.
They will not show you how it's done,as you would switch the warning light off,but not fix the fault.

I have a Renault Capture.
The engine management light went on last month.
As the car was only months old,I switched the engine off,phoned the dealership.
They told me to bring it in,it would only let me drive at a max of the ray miles an hour.
But within two minutes,the sales rep sat in the driver seat,used the buttons on the dashboard and staring wheel.
And turned it off,that easy.

I assume you don't have the handbook or, if you have, didn't bother to read it.

"small amber light" - it means the car is trying to tell you "something". Unless you can be specific about the lamp, we can't be specific about what it means. Sorry, but garbage in = garbage out.
