how do you replace a pollen filter in a micra tempest 52 players it?

Is it an indication that pollen filter needs replacing if it gives off a strong smell which makes you drowsy when travelling in vehiclefloss

Any doubt just replace it,if it is making you drowsy then you have a serious safety concern, not done one of these but my guess it will be in and about the passenger footwell.
