my mac allister mrs1400 scarifier wont start?

Hi tried the trigger switch, no luck - opened switch port, and all prons connect too, tied cleaning the contact and changed the fuse - but nothing at all, I cant even hear the motor attempting to make a whirl

No - when a switch operates you can often hear a click - my limited experience suggests the switch in the trigger mechanism as the most probable cause.

As a cynic I suspect they deliberately design weakness in the trigger switch to encourage more sales - all manufacturers.

there's no sound at all. it's an electric not petrol if that makes any difference?

These things often have a pretty ropey trigger switch - if it were mine I would suspect the trigger.

Listen to it - can you hear a click?
