i have an lx-5000 type 2, it shows ir done and question marks, pls assist ?

i have an lx-5000 type 2, it shows initial reset done and question marks on screen and makes beeping noise, i tried to set it up, but get the same IR DONE on screen, please assist

It may have a faulty battery. It will lose settings when power turned off if the battery is bad. Have you RAM cleared it?
