Mend Beko DWD5411w Dishwasher Diagnosis Repair

How can I diagnose and fix my Beko DWD 5411?

I have a Beko DWD5411w dishwasher. last night I turned it on and it made a humming noise, this was before i even pressed the start button. Upon pressing the start button the humming noise remained but nothing happened , no water filling up etc.
any ideas as to what is causing this ?
