Qualcast Petrol Strimmer Model QG PT 3043?

My petrol strimmer is currently giving me problems that I believe is down to the carb needing repair or replacement. I have rung the parts number on it and was told that they cannot supply me with either because it was produced under license in China. Does anyone know of a replacement part or repair kit for my machine?
