hi i changed my starter motor on my zafira 1.6 club and now wont start ?

Vauxhall Vauxhall Zafira 1.6 Club Vehicles, Cars Changed Start Motor

If you have 12 volts at the large connector and 12v when you turn the key at the small solenoid terminal then suspect faulty starter,I take it all earths and battery/conections are ok? Not unusual to have faulty new parts.
