How to fix my food saver v1095?

I have a food saver v1095 and when I place bag in and press down it comes on and vacuums the air out but it continues to run and does not go to sealing mode and shut off how do I fix this? It will seal if I use the instant seal button but not automaticly on its own like its suppose to do.
