Mend Airworks Heater Stopped Light

"Airworks" oil-filled heater problem?

My Airworks oil-filled heater stopped working after it was knocked over. Light comes on and heat starts up but light and heat both go off in about 30-40 minutes and heater develops an odor. Unit is/was made in Canada and no longer available in U.S. Do you know if this can be repaired, and if so what kind of repair person would I go to? Thank you.
