Mend Hotpoint Style Lights Tumble Drier

No lights on tumble drier ?

Hi. Hotpoint drier Style. Fitted new belt. Worked great. But then caught a wire which broke and fused machine so no lights. Electric coming into drier ok for fuse in plug working. Is there a trip ?
