f****ng LOUD that's for sure, a lot louder than the modern shite these days put it that way. anyone who triggers a 9600 will not want to stay in the house for long. (i have one and its brutal when it goes off). as for the decibels i would say the 9600 siren is about 115 db to 118db easy. its very loud but old.
