Bosch Classixx Dishwasher cutting out?

I have a Bosch Classixx Dishwasher (SGS45C02GB/06) that is cutting out. It appeared that there was no power to the machine and when checked found the extension lead it was attached to looked like it had burnt slightly/singed. When attached to a new extension lead the power came on and the machine started up but within a couple of minutes it stopped and tripped out the extension lead. Any ideas?
