Mend Bernini 730 Knob Help Bought

Bernini record 730 knob for changing needle position ?

Hi can anyone help please Ihelp I bought an old Bernini and when I tried to use it the knob which changes the needle position was stuck in one position by sellotape . When I removed it its loose and swinging around when I sew . Can I buy a new part or can it not be fixed . I would appreciate any help or advice .
