Mend Renault Megane Year Told Water

Renault Megane?

can't remember the year but son has this car and told me on the phone it sounds like water sloshing around in the boot area as he's driving. He checked the boot that was fine so anyone got any ideas what it could be I told him to look for a stray bottle of water he might have carried in the hot weather.
Yes sometimes it is hot in UK.
