The on/off switch is faulty?

The model is WQP 12-9250G, the on/off switch will not stay in and permit start of chosen cycle. I have sprayed the accessible parts with 'contact spray'-- it worked temporarily but has since stopped. It will function if I push two cocktail sticks underneath to maintain pressure on the switch. I can access the control panel and see the on/ off item, can it be replaced easily? Or not worth it--- the machine is three years old and will be approx. £220 to buy the same item again.
