How can I fix my leisure hja5100 dual fuel range cooker?

I want to know how to go about replacing the grill switch it seams to be bent and not turning on the grill , I replaced the grill element but nothing happened so I suspect the switch is faulty , the mains keeps tripping out when I turn the switch on !
