my carron single lever tap is not allowing enough water through the hot col?

after removing the head filter and placing in domestos and water for 3 hours rinsing off and refitting pressure resumed and cured the problem . On checking the bath tap this was also blocked and was cleared apparently this was all caused by the water board working on the pipes so it is worth checking on a regular basis.
