Mend Vulcan 100s Timer Switch Dishwasher

manual timer knob switch on Vulcan Dishlex 100s dishwasher?

Stops after washing and soap powder is put, does not rinse, timer switch just stops - have tried moving it forward, but machine does not start again - all soapy water is inside the machine

At that point it will start heating the water. Timer will stop until the set temperature is reached. So maybe it is not heating the water. Let it run past that point for 10 or 15 minutes then test the water to see if it is getting warm.
