florabest ratvhtimg trimmer poped apart?

I have a lora best rathcing trimmer, and while trimming so,e thorns in my yard it poped apart on me. I found a gear, a nut, and a bolt. I was wodering if I am missing a spring somewhere because it does not work like it did and I now have to put pressure on the one handle towards the other direction for it to work. I took a spare washer and slipped it in there and it that didn't work
