Mend Emerson MW8115SS Microwave Help Period

Emerson microwave malfunction. Need help?

My Emerson microwave model MW8115SS is not working. After a period of being unused, when I plugged it back in, it didn't apperar to be getting power until I opened the door. Then the LEDs lit up. It's acting as if the door switch is causing this but if anyone can offer advise I'd be grateful.
