Thank you so much Tom Scott. you have saved me hours of mindless waiting in for the council to come to show me how to change my pin. I will just make it a bit more user friendly though:

Press "prog" button and release, enter the old pin number (4 digit), press "8" button, enter a new 4 digit code then press "reset" and voila it is changed!!!

how do i reset my tamper as i have put a new battery in the internal box but alarm keeps beeping in outside box.thanks

Accenta 8 Mini - can you please advise how I can completely reset the system in order I can stat from scratch- At present no "zones" are lite although it accepts my password it does not "bleep" on entry or exit. My tenant messed up the configuration and now I find the instruction manual appears to have gone walkies.

I have to admit when it was first installed I could not follow the Instruction Manual anyway so if anyone can reply with a step-by-step I would be most grateful.

my wife cleaned the key pad .now when we open dining room door pad now makes a chime noise also when alarm is set it goes off after 30 mins

to archie, change the viper on the window. when you install the new one, start the sensitivity at the lowest, banging the window to activate the led. vipers are reknown to give intermittant faults. Hope this is of some help. If not, please email me and i can talk you through it.

Dear Sir, I have a alarm fault coming on in zone 5 which is at a window. The sensor I am led to belive is sensitive to movement, ie. the window being opened or some kind of vibration. At the moment it seems to be u/s as it always reverts to red which I would assume tobe the alarm mode. I have tried to adjust the sensitivity but it has no effect whatsover. Do you think the window sensor is faulty and requires replacement ?

I have just installed accenta mini house alarm,but on lcd it comes setting fault can you tell me what i have done wrong.my old blew up but i did not change the pir should i have done?

To change code press "prog" all indicators show. Then enter your current code. Day and Tamper indicators show. Press 8. Zone 1,2,3,and 4 indicators show. Enter your new code, 4 digits.

The system will beep twice and Day and Tamper indicators show. The new code is now in the memory.

Press reset to to return to Day mode.
